Prodigies Soundtrack Review

"The Prodigies is proof that he still retains the ability to do huge swelling action scores." - a quote from a review we received for Klaus' score to the 3D motion capture animation The Prodigies.

The Extra Man Soundtrack out now

Klaus Badelt's score to "The Extra Man" is out now. For this witty and eccentric comedy, Klaus - together with collaborator Christopher Carmichael - combined balalaika-inspired themes with the intimate sound of a small orchestra. The music was recorded at EMI Abbey Road London and Klaus' own Theme Park studios in Santa Monica. The soundtrack is released by Klaus' online music outlet labelzero.com.

L'Arnacoeur (Original Score) Album Credits

An earlier labelcopy posted here showed an early version of the album which, sadly, I could only offer for a few days. Legalities regarding the song I co-wrote and produced for the film specifically disallowed me using ideas such as pick-your-price, free downloads, "some" rights reserved, free share-and-remix and more. I had to decide to either compromise the progressive spirit I believe in and cut many features, or simply take the song off the album. Sorry.

L'Arnacoeur opens #1 in France

Heartbreaker Still 3"L'Arnacoeur" ("Heartbreaker" for us outside France) opened #1 last weekend in France with over 800,000 tickets sold. Critics and audience agree, as it rarely happens. Congrats to my director and producers, Pascal Chaumeil, Nicolas Duval & Yann Zenou - and thank you for letting me being part of this.

L'Arnacoeur (Original Motion Picture Score) Album Credits

OUTDATED - March 17th, 2010
This post is outdated. This labelcopy represents a short-lived, early version of the album which sadly I had to take down and replace. Read the full story and the updated, current credit list here.

Most online store don't display liner notes and credits, we noticed. While we build the ebooklet microsite, here are the album credits in the meantime.
